Cape Town - Western Province flank and captain Deon Fourie was cited on Monday for making contact with the face in the eye area of Sharks loose forward Keegan Daniel during their Currie Cup clash at Newlands last Saturday.

Fourie was cited for contravening Law 10.4 (m).
The incident occurred in the 12th minute after Daniel pulled Fourie to the ground. No action was taken by the referee.
Fourie will appear before a disciplinary committee in Cape Town on Tuesday at 12:00.
Advocate Donny Jacobs has been appointed as the judicial officer.
