Cape Town - Western Province coach Allister Coetzee is likely to utilise his returning Springboks in their Currie Cup clash against the Sharks in Durban on Saturday.
Flank Siya Kolisi, lock Eben Etzebeth, No 8 Duane Vermeulen and centres Jean de Villiers and Juan de Jongh returned to WP practice on Monday after completing their Rugby Championship duties with the Springboks.
WP currently top the Currie Cup log, leading the second-placed Sharks by one point heading into the last round-robin fixture. Saturday's game is of utmost importance though as the winner will finish top of the log, which means a possible home final if the teams wins its semi-final.
Therefore, the WP coach is adamant to play his best possible team for the remainder of the tournament.
"We will always pick the strongest possible team. Some of our Boks will definitely start this week," Coetzee told Die Burger's website.
Coetzee said he spoke to the returning Boks on Monday and all of them are eager to play a part in their quest to defend the Currie Cup.
Coetzee is also likely to pick Kolisi at blindside flank, with Deon Fourie remaining at openside where he performed well for most of the competition.
Kick-off at Kings Park is at 19:10 on Saturday.
