WP bank on youngster Leolin Zass

Cape Town - Western Province coach John Dobson has named his side to tackle the EP Kings in a Currie Cup clash at Newlands on Friday (18:00 kick-off).

This weekend sees the final round of league fixtures before the semi-finals commence.

While fullback Dillyn Leyds (groin) has recovered and wears the No 15 jersey this week, Dobson had a number of injury concerns from of the match against the Lions last week.

Flank Chris Cloete, lock Ruan Botha and fullback Cheslin Kolbe all not available for selection this week, while hooker Scarra Ntubeni (calf), scrumhalf Jano Vermaak (groin) and utility forward Rynhardt Elstadt (quadraceps) remain on the injured list and are also unavailable.

Wing Seabello Senatla and wing/centre Johnny Kotze are nursing slight niggles and are rested this week.

Coming into the squad, exciting WP exciting Under-21 player Leolin Zass gets a first start on the wing, while Justin Benn and Jaco Taute will feature off the bench.

Juan de Jongh will again captain the side in the No 12 jersey.
