Triple boost for Blue Bulls

Pretoria - Morne Mellett, Jesse Kriel and Callie Visagie returned to training on Monday and will be available for selection when the Blue Bulls play the Cell C Sharks in a Currie Cup match at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday (17:05 kick-off).

Mellett has recovered from a knee injury, Kriel had ankle troubles and Visagie missed last weekend's win over the EP Kings due to a groin injury.

Three players will only train on Tuesday though. Grant Hattingh (hip), Dean Greyling (elbow) and Lohan Jacobs (hamstring) will sit out training on Monday, Blue Bulls team doctor Org Strauss confirmed.

Jurgen Visser (foot, four months), Pierre Spies (bicep, 4 months), Arno Botha (knee, 3 months), Frik Kirsten (neck, 3 months), Jaco Visagie (knee, 3 months), Flip van der Merwe (knee, 3 months) and Hencus van Wyk (leg, 6 months) are on the long term injury list.
