Cape Town - Western Province will host the Sharks in the 2013 Absa Currie Cup final at Newlands on Saturday after both sides recorded comprehensive semi-final victories over the Golden Lions and Free State Cheetahs, respectively.
The match will be a repeat of last year's final (in Durban) and will be the fourth consecutive year that the Sharks have played in the showpiece match.
However, the much-vaunted all-Springbok Sharks front row has been decimated of late.
Prop Beast Mtawarira was forced to withdraw at the 11th hour ahead of the semi-final, and hooker Bismarck du Plessis may find himself watching the final from the comfort of his lounge after a yellow card - and citing - for stamping in the match against the Free State Cheetahs.
Which leaves us with 51-Test veteran Jannie du Plessis, currently sporting a hand injury, as the player the Sharks management will be sweating over this week ahead of Saturday's final...
