Sharks to host Lions in Pietermaritzburg

Cape Town - The Sharks will host the Golden Lions in a pre-Currie Cup friendly match at Woodburn Stadium in Pietermaritzburg later this month.

The match is scheduled for Friday, July 31 at 19:00.

Woodburn Stadium has hosted the Sharks on numerous occasions and matches there are always played in a festival atmosphere as the locals come out in full support of their team.

The Sharks start their Currie Cup campaign away to the Pumas in Nelspruit on Friday, August 7, while the Lions open against the EP Kings in Port Elizabeth the following day.
