Sharks to honour their women

Cape Town - The Cell C Sharks will honour the special women in their lives when they tackle Griquas in a Currie Cup clash in Kimberley on Saturday.

With Saturday, August 9 being Women's Day, the Sharks have recognised the important role that females play in society and in support of this special day, each member of the Sharks team will have the name of the most significant female in their lives displayed on the back of their respective jerseys.

The Sharks go into the competition as the defending champions having beaten Western Province 33-19 in last year's final at Newlands.

Kick-off for the clash at GWK Park is scheduled for 15:00.
