Cape Town - The Sharks have secured the services of Griquas prop Lourens Adriaanse from next season.
According to the Volksblad website, Adriaanse will still represent Griquas in this year's Currie Cup before heading to Durban.
He is the third Griquas player to be signed by the Sharks in recent times. Lock Edwin Hewitt and flank Justin Downey have also moved to Durban.
Adriaanse, 25, who excelled for the Cheetahs franchise in this year's Super Rugby competition, will fight it our for a spot in the Sharks team with Springbok Jannie du Plessis.
