Rhule back in Cheetahs fold

Cape Town - Raymond Rhule is back at wing for the Free State Cheetahs as they prepare to face Griquas in a Currie Cup clash in Kimberley on Saturday.

The 20-year-old, who toured with the Springboks in Europe last year, has missed the Cheetahs' last few games after he was told to work on a few aspects of his game.

Rhule's return is one of three changes made by coach Naka Drotské to the team that lost 29-27 at home to Western Province last Friday.

Piet Lindeque moves from the left wing to right wing in place of Riaan Smit, with Rhule reclaiming the No 11 jersey.

In the only change to the forwards, Francois Uys comes in at lock in place of Freddy Ngoza, who drops down to the bench.

Philip van der Walt also makes his long-awaited return from a shoulder injury and will sit on the bench, with Davon Raubenheimer dropping out of the 22-man squad.

Kick-off in Kimberley is at 14:00 on Saturday.
