Reinach gets Sharks No 9 nod

Cape Town - Scrumhalf Cobus Reinach will get his first start for the Sharks in this year's Currie Cup when they tackle the Blue Bulls at Kings Park in Durban on Saturday.

Reinach, who started from the bench in their first three games, replaces Charl McLeod in the starting team. McLeod will play his 50th Currie Cup game should he come off the bench.

The one other change to the backline which did duty against Free State last week sees Odwa Ndungane replace Sizo Maseko at right wing after recovering from a hamstring niggle.

Flyhalf Fred Zeilinga, who impressed the Sharks coaches in their 18-15 win in Bloemfontein, retains his place in the starting team with Butch James remaining on the bench.

Amongst the forwards, Peet Marais gets an opportunity at lock in place of Edwin Hewitt, while Craig Burden replaces Kyle Cooper in the No 2 jumper.

Kick-off is at 17:05 on Saturday.
