Durban - The Sharks may have slipped another cat out of the bag after it was broadcast that Brad Macleod-Henderson will be their coach for the upcoming Currie Cup season.
Rugby365's website reports that Hilton College confirmed the appointment on Twitter with a tweet reading: "(sic) Congrats to the 2 year former 1st XV coach and old boy Brad Macleod-Henderson (BMH) on his appointment as Sharks head coach for Currie Cup!"
Just over three weeks ago, it was reported on Sport24 that Macleod-Henderson was considered the favourite to take over from John Plumtree, after the latter was sacked by incoming Sharks CEO, John Smit.
Assistant coaches Hugh Reece-Edwards and Grant Bashford will vacate their positions after filling in for Plumtree after his departure.
Smit responded to appointment by tweeting a picture of himself and Hilton College headmaster PB Ducasse and saying: "(sic) Passed by Hilton College today to thank them for Brad, hopefully the start of good engagement with our Schools in KZN”
