Cape Town - A new era is set to dawn on Western Province with John Dobson likely to be named Currie Cup coach, Monday's Cape Times reports.
The Western Province Rugby Union (WPRU) will hold a press conference on Monday, where Gert Smal is expected to be appointed as Director of Rugby.
Allister Coetzee is likely to stay on as Stormers coach, but Dobson - who currently coaches the WP Vodacom Cup side - will also take charge of the team later this year in the Currie Cup.
While Coetzee is to keep his job, the positions of backline coach Robbie Fleck and forwards coach Matthew Proudfoot appear to be in jeopardy.
The Stormers on Sunday returned from a disastrous Australasian Super Rugby tour where they lost all four games - the first time it has happened since 1998.
They host the Waratahs at Newlands on Saturday (19:10 kick-off).
