Pretoria - The Blue Bulls will be without Jean Cook (broken thumb), Frik Kirsten (ankle) and most probably Callie Visagie for Saturday's Currie Cup match against the Golden Lions in Pretoria.
Loose forward Cook will be out of action for six weeks and prop Kirsten for two, while hooker Visagie will undergo a scan to determine the extent of the injury he picked up in their 15-9 win over Griquas on Friday.
Team doctor Org Strauss also expressed caution on the availability of wing Akona Ndungane, who is recovering from a hamstring strain and a call on his participation in the Loftus clash will be made on Wednesday.
Flyhalf Tony Jantjies (back), No 8 Jono Ross (shoulder), scrumhalf Rudy Paige (shoulder), centres Waylon Murray (neck) and Francois Venter (mouth) will only train on Tuesday, Strauss said, but all should be available to play.
