Golden Lions to pay tribute to Duif du Toit

Johannesburg - The Golden Lions Rugby Union (GLRU) will pay tribute to photographer Duif du Toit on Friday with a moment's silence before kick-off in the Absa Currie Cup match between the Golden Lions and Western Province at the stadium where he shot most of his rugby images during his career, Emirates Airline Park.

Kick-off is at 18:00.

Du Toit passed away last Thursday after suffering organ failure in a Johannesburg hospital. He was 57.

A special presentation will be made to Du Toit's wife Adele and son De Villiers who have both been invited to attend the match, after the final whistle.
