Frylinck set for Pumas debut

Johannesburg - The Steval Pumas will welcome Stormers scrumhalf Dylan Frylinck as part of their seven changes to the match 23 that lost to the Cell C Sharks for Friday’s Absa Currie Cup fixture against GWK Griquas in Nelspruit.

According to the supersport.com website, Frylinck, who made his Vodacom Super Rugby debut for the Stormers against the Vodacom Bulls earlier this year, moved to the Pumas for the Currie Cup season and will make his debut for the team off the bench if he gets onto the field.

The scrumhalf has also played for UCT and Western Province’s Vodacom Cup team this year and is a healthy addition to coach Jimmy Stonehouse’s squad.

In other changes to the side, Corne Fourie is promoted from the bench in the front row in the place of Vincent Koch, who moves across to tighthead.

DeJay Terblanche drops from the starting line-up onto the bench in the shuffle.

Uzar Cassiem is also promoted from the bench in the place of Jaco Bouwer, while fullback Heinrich Steyl becomes the third player from the bench to come into the starting line-up, in the place of JW Bell, who drops out of the match 23 altogether.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...
