When asked in a poll on the Sport24 website "Which teams will contest this year's domestic showpiece final on Saturday, October 25", some 46% of respondents suggested WP will beat the Blue Bulls in their semi-final, while the Golden Lions will overcome the Sharks, thus setting up a mouth-watering finale at Newlands.

23% of the votes went to a Golden Lions v Blue Bulls final, while 19% opted for a repeat of last year's final between WP and the Sharks.

The match-up scenario voted least likely was a Sharks v Blue Bulls clash in Durban, with 12%.

Time will tell...

The first semi-final between the Golden Lions and Sharks will kick-off at 14:30, while the WP v Blue Bulls north v south derby begins at 17:00.
