De Jongh in doubt for semi

Cape Town - WP coach Allister Coetzee has said he is unsure whether Juan de Jongh will recover in time to play against the Golden Lions in their Currie Cup semi-final at Newlands.

De Jongh failed a late fitness test last Friday before WP's match against Sharks after struggling with a hamstring injury.

He was replaced by Michael van der Spuy against the Sharks.

'Juan at this point in time is still 50-50,' said Coetzee.'By Wednesday we'll have a good indication as to how he is. We'll take as much time as possible to make the decision.'

Kick-off at Newlands Stadium is at 14:30 on Saturday.
