Blue Bulls boosted by Bok trio

2012-10-01 12:02

Pretoria - The Blue Bulls will be able to call on the services of Springboks Dean Greyling, Chiliboy Ralepelle and Bjorn Basson for Friday night’s Absa Currie Cup match against Western Province in Pretoria.

Ralepelle has fully recovered from a knee strain he picked up while on Springbok duty, Greyling’s suspension has lapsed and Basson is fully fit after recovering from an earlier operation.

According to Blue Bulls team doctor, Org Strauss, no injuries were reported after the clash against the Sharks last weekend. Louis Fouchè will not train on Monday though, due to a shoulder strain, but will be fit to train again on Tuesday.

Deon Stegmann, Pierre Spies and Fudge Mabeta remain the long term casualties and will not play again during the Absa Currie Cup campaign.

I just hoped that pine pienaar would diappear from the blue bulls scene and loftus. I think wynie strydom would do a better job coaching the bulls and that shows how desperate i am to see pienaar disappearing.

Or Mnr Pogenpoel from "laerskool pofadder" 0/9b team!!!

Let him take Dewald with him!

I am no Blue Bull supporter but surely DG needs to be put on a "how to play Rugby" course. I can accept that he tried very hard to impress but surely, he makes the same stupid mistakes in all formats. He can be a asset to the Bulls and dare I say to the Boks if he just play the ball the rules and not the man.

Will certainly bolster the scrum, hope Chili is better enough to make an impact and hope Basson isn't going to flinch everytime he goes up for a high ball. Him and Ndungane are going to dominate

Kruger should also be released as he will not be part of the Bok match 22.

      Raven, Ignorance is bliss

      stirrer.stirrer - 2012-10-01 15:10

Raven, you won't believe what I'm going to say here: WP will DEFINITELY NOT win on Saturday. The reason for that is that the game is on Friday, and that's when they will annihilate the Bulls, as usual.

      macziekpk - 2012-10-01 15:42

Lean Sadie going on about ignorance. How ironic

      paul.sdoow - 2012-10-01 17:09

um did wp not already win at moftus when bulls had full strength and they were injury stricken and all the bb supporters and peanut gallery fake sadi and Charlie chaplain and every other original double use of first letter names say that bulls will crush province? . . hmmm how wrong they were . .

@stirrer Bullls 26-WP 13 Any comment on your comment?

Good news for WP, Dean Greyling cost bulls each game at least 12 points...Either in fights, rough play or cannot take pressure in scrums

Good news for WP, Dean cost bulls each game at least 12 points..Cannot scrum under pressure..dirty player..cost the boks a game...

Why not release steyn, kruger and potgieter as they sitting keeping the benches on the stands warm??

  • deon.louw.7505 - 2012-10-01 15:27

It is now or never for the Bulls, WP is losing steam and could still miss out on a semi final place.

  • rinus.groeneveld.7 - 2012-10-01 18:06
