Big guns back for Lions

Cape Town - Golden Lions coach Johan Ackermann has named his team for their Currie Cup semi-final against the Free State Cheetahs in Johannesburg on Saturday.

The Lions’ stars are back on duty this weekend after Ackermann opted for a second-string line-up against Griquas last week.

Jaco Kriel will again lead the team with the leadership group consisting of Warren Whiteley, Ross Cronje and Howard Mnisi all back on duty.

Kick-off for Saturday’s clash at Ellis Park is scheduled for 13:45.
