Bordeaux sign Bulls' Beyers

Bordeaux - Bordeaux have signed South Africa's Ulrich Beyers, who can play at centre or fullback, as medical cover for the injured Darly Domvo, the French Top 14 side announced on Sunday.

The 24-year-old was taken on after impressing in trials at the club last week.

An Under-20 international, Beyers has competed regularly in the Currie Cup for his former side, the Blue Bulls.

Domvo is sidelined for the rest of the season with a knee ligament injury.
