Bok signs with French club

Pretoria - The Blue Bulls' Springbok centre Wayne Julies has signed a two year deal with French club Aix en Provence.

Julies, who has already left for France, has had an illustrious career in South Africa and after making his provincial debut for the Boland in 1999 he went on to represent the Cheetahs, Lions and Eagles with distinction.

The 30-year-old has played Super Rugby for the Bulls, Cats and Stormers and, it is interesting to note, he first starred for the Bulls in the 1999 tournament.

As a specialist inside centre Julies was first selected for the Springboks in 1999 after playing for the SA Schools and SA Under-21 team and represented South Africa in 11 Tests.

The Blue Bulls thanked Julies for his contribution over the last couple of seasons and wished him all the best with his career abroad.
