Armitage gets fourth ban

London - England international Delon Armitage has picked up his fourth suspension of the year on Tuesday as he received a five week ban for a dangerous tackle on Bath's Tom Biggs in his side London Irish's 13-9 Premiership loss last month.

The 27-year-old missed the Six Nations following an eight week ban for pushing an anti-doping official and got a three week suspension in April for striking an opponent in a Premiership fixture.

Despite missing the Six Nations and then England's match against the Babrarians in May he was recalled to the England squad for the World Cup but couldn't avoid staying out of trouble in New Zealand.

He was banned for England's World Cup quarter-final defeat by France following another dangerous tackle.
