Adongo to start for Bulls 'B'

Cape Town - New recruit Daniel Adongo will earn a first start for the Blue Bulls' Vodacom Cup side to take on their Free State counterparts in a friendly match in Pretoria on Friday.

The loose forward signed from the Sharks late last year until October 2013.

The 22-year-old Kenyan was a member of the Sharks Academy in recent years and represented the Sharks at under-19, under -21 and Vodacom Cup level, playing in all 10 of the Sharks XV's matches in 2011, and scoring three tries.

According to the Bulls' website, the match will also see the return to action of recently signed prop Rayno Gerber.

The game starts at 15:00 on Loftus Versfeld's B field.

The Bulls' first choice team take on the Cheetahs in a Super Rugby warm-up match in Polokwane on Saturday.
