5-week ban for All Blacks World Cup winner Kaino

Paris - Two-time World Cup winner Jerome Kaino was handed a five-week ban on Wednesday for a dangerous tackle playing for Toulouse in last week's European Champions Cup clash against Bath.

Kaino, part of New Zealand's 2011 and 2015 World Cup teams, was yellow-carded for a shoulder charge on Bath's Welsh star Jamie Roberts during the 22-20 win.

However, it merited "a red card", said the tournament's disciplinary commission on Wednesday.

Kaino will miss Sunday's European clash at home to defending champions Leinster and will not be eligible to play again until December 3.
