1. T20 GLOBAL LEAGUE: WHAT IT MEANS FOR SA CRICKET

Cricket South Africa (CSA) have announced the owners for the 8 teams who will participate in the T20 Global League due to take place in South Africa in November and December.

But not everybody is convinced.

2. CANCER FIGHTER RETURNS TO RUGBY

Flyhalf Christian Lealiifano will make his return to rugby since being diagnosed with leukaemia in August of last year.

The Wallaby was named on the bench for the Brumbies for a clash against the Asia Pacific Dragons in Singapore on Thursday.

3. FAF WON'T TURN ON TEST CRICKET

T20 cricket is popping everywhere...

It has our ODI captain AB de Villiers saying that he cannot commit to playing Test cricket for South Africa this year while he plays in the IPL and other T20 leagues.

However, Proteas Test captain Faf du Plessis has made it loud and clear that he wants to keep playing in the format for as long as possible despite his confirmed participation in the first ever T20 Global League.

4. BECKER BANKRUPT

Former tennis great Boris Becker was "disappointed" after being declared bankrupt by a court in London.

The three-time Wimbledon champion failed to pay a "substantial" long-standing debt. This comes after Becker split with former world No 1 Novak Djokovic last December - taking the Serbian to six Grand Slam titles with Becker by his side...
