Cape Town - It's the weekend!

But the sporting world never sleeps, so hang on tight and be sure to watch these FOUR events!

1. Sri Lanka v Proteas 3rd ODI

The Proteas convincingly won the first two ODIs against Sri Lanka as we head into the third ODI at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.

Can this young Proteas team, led by Faf du Plessis, seal the one-day series in Kandy?

Sunday's third ODI gets under way at 06:15 SA time.

2. WGC Bridgestone Invitational

The world's best golfers are at Firestone Country Club for the third World Golf Championships.

3. Absa Premiership

The Absa Premiership is back!

And the 2018/19 season looks like it'll be bigger and better thanks to some exciting signings!

We kick things off on Saturday with a bang as the reigning champions Mamelodi Sundowns take on Kaizer Chiefs (15:00), Wits host Free State Stars (18:00), Cape Town City battle SuperSport United (18:00) and newly promoted Black Leopards tackle Polokwane City (18:00).

Later in the evening, AmaZulu play Baroka (20:15) and last year's runner-up Orlando Pirates host Highlands Park (20:15).

On Sunday, Bloemfontein Celtic take on Chippa United (15:00) and Maritzburg United host Golden Arrows (15:00).

4. Super Rugby final

We are down to the final two teams!

We travel to Christchurch as the defending champion Crusaders take on the Lions in what is expected to be an epic Super Rugby final.

Kick-off is at 09:35 SA time.

Who will ultimately reign supreme? Will we see an upset? All these questions and more will be answered on Sport24.
