Top 4 must-watch weekend sporting events

Cape Town - It's the weekend!

But the sporting world never sleeps, so hang on tight and be sure to catch these FOUR events (in no particular order)!

1. T20 CHALLENGE

The domestic 2017/18 season kicks off with the RAM SLAM T20 Challenge!

All the Proteas will be in action for their various franchises and there's even an opportunity for fans to catch a share of R2 million in the stands.

On Sunday, there's a double header at SuperSport Park when the Cape Cobras take on the Dolphins (12:00) and then the Titans host the Highveld Lions for a Gauteng derby (18:00).

2. BRAZILIAN GRAND PRIX

The Formula One circus roars into Sao Paulo this weekend.

Despite the title sealed by Lewis Hamilton, there's still a fight for podium finishes...

Ferarri's Sebastian Vettel or Mercedes' Valtteri Bottas can still finish second with 15 points currently separating the pair.

3. NEDBANK GOLF CHALLENGE

The Nedbank Golf Challenge or as it's notoriously dubbed as 'Africa's major' has arrived at the famed Gary Player Country Club and all eyes will be on the European Tour's best golfers in Sun City.

Can a South African break the 10-year drought and win at home?

This is a golf tournament you do not want to miss!

4. IRELAND V SPRINGBOKS

The Springboks daunting tour to Europe has begun!

Allister Coetzee and his charges are in Dublin and look to end their poor record abroad when they take on Ireland on Saturday (Kick-off at 19:30).

Who will reign supreme? Will we see any upsets? All these questions and more will be answered on Sport24...
