1. ANDERSON BACK TO REPRESENT SA?

Kevin Anderson, who played in his first Grand Slam final last weekend, might represent his country in next year's Davis Cup.

This is according to South Africa's Davis Cup consultant coach Jeff Coetzee, who gears up as the SA-team take on Denmark in their Davis Cup tie this weekend.

2. STEYN RULES OUT FOUR-DAY RETURN

The prospect of Dale Steyn returning to the Proteas set-up for the first Test against Bangladesh has been dealt a blow.

The Proteas speedster has ruled himself out for the Titans' opening Sunfoil Series game next week.

3. WHAT BACKLINE INEXPERIENCE?

The Springboks have just two backline players with more than 20 Test caps for their Rugby Championship clash against the All Blacks in Albany.

The back three is considered an area where the Boks lack experience with Andries Coetzee, Raymond Rhule and Courtnall Skosan having six caps each - all of those coming this year.
