CASTER CRUSHES CR7 IN CORE CHALLENGE

Caster Semenya has DESTROYED Cristiano Ronaldo's 'core crusher challenge' record in the Nike Living Room Cup challenge. Sports stars have been challenging each other in a core strength challenge which involves touching your toes as many times as possible whilst lying flat on your back. Fitness freak Ronaldo managed 142 reps in the 45-second challenge, only for Semenya to blast that number out of the water with 176 reps.

MYTWOCENTS VERDICT: Don't mess with us South Africans when it comes to challenges!

RUGBY CLUB WORLD CUP PROPOSAL

If French rugby boss Bernard Laporte had his way we would have rugby every day! Laporte has proposed a 20-team Club World Cup to replace the European Champions Cup. The idea would be to hold the tournament in late June and throughout July and it would include 6 Super Rugby teams, 4 from the French Top 14, 4 from the English Premiership, 4 from the PRO14 as well as teams from the Top League in Japan and Major League rugby in the US.

MYTWOCENTS VERDICT: We think Laporte is dreaming if he expects players to play the Super Rugby from Feb to May, the Club World Cup from June-July, the Rugby Championship from Aug-Sept and internationals from Oct-November. NO CHANCE!

ONLY RED IN LIVERPOOL RIGHT NOW ARE THEIR FACES

Liverpool were forced into an embarrassing about turn yesterday, in announcing that they no longer would be using tax-payers money to furlough non-playing staff. How they came to their original decision was disgraceful and publicly slammed as embarrassing by ex-players, Jamie Carragher and Dimi Hamman. The good news is that other clubs have followed suit with Man United now telling non-playing staff they will not be furloughed.

MYTWOCENTS VERDICT: Why it took a public backlash for the club's billionaire owners to come to such an obvious decision is pretty shocking and has done some damage to Liverpool's good name.

IT'S FERGUSON V GAETHJE FOR UFC 249 ... SOMEWHERE ON THIS PLANET

UFC boss Dana White has confirmed what had been suspected of late, that the Khabib v Ferguson fight is officially off with Khabib being replaced by Justin "The Highlight" Gaethje. The only thing we don't know is the venue which according to White will be held "somewhere on the planet". Thanks for that Dana ... we also had it narrowed down to somewhere on Earth!!

MYTWOCENTS VERDICT: Anyone who is disappointed about the Khabib withdrawal should not be. Check out Gaethje's reel on YouTube and you will see why he is called "The Highlight". This one will be a cracker!

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
