Cris Cyborg is coming to South Africa

Cape Town - MMA superstar and former UFC women’s featherweight champion ‘Cris Cyborg’ is coming to South Africa.

Cyborg (20-2), widely considered one of the greatest female fighters on the planet, will be making her first trip to Africa to conduct a seminar in Johannesburg on March 16.

The event will be held at Apex MMA Gym at the Sandton View Shopping Centre in Bryanston.

Open to all skill and fitness levels, tickets cost R800 with registration via email at donmadgemma@gmail.com.

SA’s only active UFC fighter Don Madge (8-3-1) has helped the 33-year-old Brazilian destroyer - real name Cristiane Justino - prepare for title bouts in the past as a sparring partner.

Madge, who trains at Coach Quan University in Johannesburg, was recently on holiday in Thailand where he put in work at Tiger Muay Thai in Phuket.
