Finhaut-Emosson - Tour de France contender Nairo Quintana received a new blow on Wednesday (July 20) as a second Movistar team-mate quit the race.
Gorka Izagirre crashed inside the first kilometre of Wednesday's 17th stage in Switzerland from Bern to Finhaut-Emosson.
His departure adds to that of Jesus Herrada, who quit during Sunday's 15th stage due to illness.
It leaves Quintana down by two team-mates in his bid to dethrone current race leader Chris Froome, whose Sky team remains at full-strength.
Quintana, who was second overall to Froome in 2013 and last year, currently lies fourth at 2:59.
