Quick-Step include Gaviria in Tour team

Paris - After a powerful showing of 43 wins so far this season, Belgian team Quick-Step on Tuesday unveiled an eight-man line-up led by veteran Philippe Gilbert which looks capable of racking up stage victories on the Tour de France.

Liege-Bastogne-Liege champion Bob Jungels could find himself in yellow early on, and is their rider most likely to finish in the top 10.

But their rolling terrain expert Julian Alaphilippe, winner of the Fleche Wallone in April, cobbled section specialist Niki Terpstra and Colombian sprinter Fernando Gaviria will all be hoping for stage triumphs.

The 23-year-old Gaviria won four stages on the Giro d'Italia.

"It's no secret, we are aiming for stage wins with Fernando," said Tom Steels, one of Quick-Step's directors.

Quick-Step Tour de France team:

Julian Alaphilippe (FRA), Tim Declercq (BEL), Fernando Gaviria (COL), Philippe Gilbert (BEL), Bob Jungels (LUX), Yves Lampaert (BEL), Maximiliano Richeze (ARG), Niki Terpstra (NED)
