Ruben Plaza wins 16th stage

Gap - Spaniard Ruben Plaza took his first victory at the Tour de France on Monday's 201km 16th stage from Bourg-de-Peage to Gap.

Slovak Peter Sagan took second for the fifth time at this year's race as his two-year wait for a stage victory drags on.

Colombian Jarlinson Pantano took third as race leader Chris Froome was part of a peloton almost 20 minutes behind.
