SASCOC CEO Tubby Reddy suspended

Cape Town - According to SABC News, Chief executive of the SA Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee Tubby Reddy has been suspended.

Reddy has been under investigation after he allegedly sent pornographic material to female colleagues, but Netwerk24  reported that he was not suspended due to the sexual harassment complaint.

According to Netwerk24's source, the SASCOC board suspended him because he allegedly didn't follow proper labour practice when he appointed a company to investigate SASCOC staff.

SABC specialist reporter, Thabiso Sithole, confirmed that Reddy had been informed of his suspension with the decision taken at a SASCOC board meeting on Wednesday.

Reddy's lawyer‚ Dev Maharaj‚ said his client had been suspended until August 18.
