Cape Town - Aftern their brilliant 55-52 win over Jamaica on Sunday, the Proteas kept their winning streak underway at the Netball World Cup, easily defeating Scotland 66-38 in Liverpool on Monday.
After coach Norma Plummer made a number of changes to the side that faced Jamaica, the Proteas edged the first quarter 14-10 as they eased their way into the match.
Playing with real speed, the Proteas managed to extend their lead to 32-20 by half-time.
The third and fourth quarter saw the Proteas dominate as they cruised to an easy victory.
Lenize Potgieter managed a 100% shooting record on the night, converting all 30 of her attempts while Sigi Burger managed to slot 26 baskets out of her 29 attempts.
The Proteas now play Uganda with a win securing them a semi-final spot.
The match takes place on Wednesday at 20:00 (SA time).
