Builders renew quiz sponsorship

Cape Town - Home improvement giants Builders Warehouse have extended their sponsorship for another two years of South Africa’s favourite sports quiz, run in association with Prosport International.

In 2013, the Builders Sports Quiz took place at packed venues in Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg with some of the biggest names in South African sport in attendance, including John Smit, Beast Mtawarira, Bernard Parker, Andile Jali, Gordon Igesund, Brian Mitchell, and Pat Cilliers to name just a few.

“I couldn’t be happier. Builders are a massive national brand and their commitment to these events has been fantastic. The Builders Sports Quiz Series created a huge buzz in 2013 and I look forward to continue growing the event in partnership with them in 2014 and 2015,” said Prosport International Commercial Manager and event organiser, David Brooke.

Massbuild Marketing Director Zandile Manana expressed his delight at extending the sponsorship.

“This Sports Quiz Series allow us to expose our brand to our target market while also being able to entertain our various suppliers, all in a fun and entertaining environment. We are excited for another great series.”

The ever-popular Dan Nicholl will be returning as MC for the Builders Sports Quiz Series which is set to take place at the following venues in Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg in 2014:

Durban (Durban Country Club) – Thursday, April 3
Cape Town (GrandWest Casino & Entertainment World) – Wednesday, August 6
Johannesburg (Emperors Palace) – Wednesday, October 29
