Builders Sports Quiz kicks off in Durban

Cape Town - South Africa’s favourite sports quiz, backed by home improvement giants Builders Warehouse and hosted by MC Dan Nicholl, will be kicking off next month with the Durban leg of the series taking place at Sibaya Casino on Wednesday, June 4.

Sports fans in Durban will be able to test their knowledge against colleagues and sports celebrities, while aiming for some amazing prizes to the value of over R40 000 sponsored by the likes of Skil and Trimtech.

The Dolphins cricket team took home the title in 2013, with all-rounder Daryn Smit leading his team to a resounding victory, while their rugby counterparts from the Sharks weren’t too far behind.

Builders Sports Quiz organiser David Brooke looks forward to the event: “Last year, we saw the general public pitting their sports knowledge up against the likes of John Smit, Beast Mtawarira, Butch James, Morne van Wyk and various media personalities in a fun environment with a few cold Castles on hand. We’ve added some exciting new elements to the Builders Sports Quiz this year and I can’t wait to see what Durban has to offer first up.”

Tables of 8 are available to book on a first come first served basis, so check out the flyer below for all the details and booking information or head over to http://www.prosportinternational.com/news/builders_sports_quiz_2014/ for further details.
