WATCH: SA swimmer shares his Rio experience

Cape Town - South African relay swimmer Calvyn Justus on Thursday shared his entire Olympic experience on YouTube.

Justus swam in his first and only Olympic race in the 4x200m freestyle relay on day four of the swimming event at the Rio Games.

The South African team, consisting of Justus, Sebastien Rousseau, Myles Brown and Dylan Bosch, finished fourth in their first heat with a time of 7:12:61 to finish in 10th position overall and unable to qualify for the final, which was eventually won by Great Britain.

The 20-year-old has been making YouTube videos since May 2013.

In the video, the swimmer gives us an inside scoop into life at the Rio Games from the Olympic village to the South African team entering the Maracana Stadium at the magnificent opening ceremony.

The video also includes cameos from Cameron van der Burgh clutching his silver medal, along with other South African athletes.
