Cape Town - The Laureus Sport for Good Foundation South Africa and Tsogo Sun Hotels proudly announced their hospitality partnership with a 2019 Rugby World Cup preview and Sport For Good breakfast at the Southern Sun Newlands on Wednesday.

Over the years both Laureus and Tsogo Sun have played an integral part in and supported a number of iconic local and global sporting events, including the Absa Cape Epic and Cape Cycle Tour.
As the official hospitality partner Tsogo Sun will provide accommodation and conferencing venues for the Laureus Sport For Good Foundation over the next 12 months.

The breakfast was attended by Laureus ambassadors; Schalk Burger, Jean de Villiers, Zanele Mdodana, Ernst van Dyk, Ryan Sandes, Cecil Afrika and chairperson of Laureus Sport for Good South Africa, Morne du Plessis. The morning featured 3 panel discussions; first up was Coolplay, a Laureus funded programme who discussed the power of sport in changing lives, then the focus turned to Sevens with Cecil Afrika and Kyle Brown, and concluded with Laureus Ambassadors Jean de Villiers, Schalk Burger and chairperson, Morne du Plessis chatting through their thoughts on the 2019 Rugby World Cup which commences in Japan on Friday, September 20.
