Jordy looking good in Bali

Cape Town - Jordy Smith is looking good in the Oakley Pro Keramas, a World Championship Tour surfing event currently taking place on the eastern coast of Bali.

Jordy shone in his first round heat, taking to the skies for an easy win and a leap-frog advance through to Round 3.

Jordy surfed against local Indonesian wildcard surfer Oney Anwar and Australian surfer Matt Wilkinson, and scored 15.46 points out of a possible 20 points.

Jordy is currently No 3 in the world tour rankings.

"I'm actually happy to be number three in the world," said Jordy after his heat yesterday.

"The surfers above me have so much more pressure right now, and I'm just totally relaxed and having a good time at this event."
