Cape Town - South African surfing superstar Jordy Smith has popped the question to model girlfriend, Lyndall Jarvis.
Smith, currently competing in the Vans US Open of Surfing at Huntington Beach in California, asked Jarvis to paddle out on a longboard in front of the house where they were staying, and when they were out among the waves, he produced a ring and popped the question.
She said YES.
Smith, 25, was born in Durban and has three World Championship Tour (WCT) victories to his name, including two wins at the Billabong Pro in Jeffreys Bay.
Jarvis is a former FHM model and Top Billing presenter.
