WWE legends Triple H, Undertaker face off in last ever bout

Cape Town - It's perhaps the biggest news to come out of the WWE ring in living memory - and an event no die-hard wrestling fan will want to miss.

According to the Daily Star website, WWE legends Triple H and The Undertaker will go head-to-head in their last-ever bout in Melbourne, Australia in October.

Triple H, married to Stephanie, the daughter of WWE boss Vince McMahon, sensationally revealed on Monday Night's Raw that he would return to the ring to face off in a last-ever bout against his fiercest rival at the famed Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on October 6.

Some 80 000 fans are expected to attend.

The Undertaker and Triple H last wrestled six years ago in what was billed as "the end of an era" bout at WrestleMania XXVIII.

Triple H made the announcement in front of tens of thousands of fans at New York’s Barclays Centre confirming he would “be The Game again”.

He said: “Tell ‘em I’m in.

“I will take off this suit, I will tape back up, I will lace up my boots and I will be The Game again.

“If The Undertaker will pick up that hat and put on those gloves one last time.”

Fellow WWE superstars John Cena, Ronda Rousey and Shane McMahon or also expected to take part in the event being termed "Super Show-Down".
