UFC 200 - What to expect

Cape Town - The biggest week in MMA is upon us and here at Sport24 we will have you covered.

All three events will be live tweeted and news, views and full card results will be available all through-out the biggest three days in the sport.

Three events, five title fights and a who's who of the MMA world will be in the cage and in attendance as Las Vegas is set to hold international fight week where fans and fighters can interact at pool parties and fan fests. The fighting itself runs from Thursday to Saturday.

Below are the events that we will be covering.

UFC Fight Night: Dos Anjos vs. Alvarez

Kicking things off on Thursday July 7 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena is a stacked fight night card headlined by a lightweight title bout between defending champion Rafael Dos Anjos and former Bellator champion Eddie Alvarez. The nights co-main event is all about the big boys as knockout artists Roy Nelson and Derrick Lewis will throw down in what is expected to be a violent affair.

Check out the first of three stacked cards here.

The Ultimate Fighter Finale

The UFC's most recent season of its hit reality show 'The Ultimate Fighter' comes to a head on Friday July 8 as bitter rivals and opposing coaches will collide in the nights main event for the UFC women's strawweight title. In what is going to be an exciting rematch Joanna Jedrzejczyk defends her title against a woman she holds a UFC win over in Claudia Gadelha. In the co-main event slot we will see UFC newbie and former Bellator 155-pound king Will Brooks make his promotional debut opposite long time veteran Ross Pearson. While the season is still currently running the final match-ups have yet to be set and won't be a done deal until next week.

UFC 200

The week comes to end in spectacular fashion from the brand new T-Mobile Arena as the promotion holds its most stacked card ever. The main event is a rematch between two of the sports most bitter rivals as Daniel Cormeir and Jon Jones collide for a second time to crown an undisputed light heavyweight champion. The co-main event pits former heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar up against the sports heaviest puncher Mark Hunt. Also on the card is a women's bantamweight title bout between Miesha Tate and Amanda Nunes aswell as an interim featherweight match-up between Josè Aldo and Frankie Edgar.
