Cape Town - Brock Lesnar is still under contract with the UFC and will be treated by USADA as an active fighter and will be tested under the usual circumstances.

Sport24 confirmed with USADA officials that the former UFC heavyweight champion will be tested up as part of the anti-doping policy until he informs USADA of his retirement from the promotion.

"Brock Lesnar has not notified USADA of his retirement from the UFC," an official said.

"He will remain subject to the UFC's anti-doping policy and be subject to USADA testing."

Lesnar who faced and beat Mark Hunt in dominant fashion at UFC 200 was tested six times in the month prior to the event on Jul. 9. His status as a future UFC fighter is currently up in the air but at the post fight press conference Lesnar (6-3) did not rule out another fight later on in the year.
