Dutch break another record

Doha - The Netherlands women's 4x50m freestyle relay squad set a new world record of 1minute 35.74seconds in the heats at the world short-course swimming championships in Doha on Sunday.

The Dutch quartet came into the race having already set new marks in the 4x100m and 4x200m freestyle relays and they will enter the final later on Sunday as clear favourites to make it a triple.

It was the 18th world record of the event, which concludes later on Sunday.
