Found: Adlington's medals

London - Former British swimmer Rebecca Adlington's two Olympic gold and two bronze medals have been recovered after a burglary at her home in Manchester.

Adlington wrote on Twitter beforehand that she was "in absolute pieces." But she tweeted 30 minutes later that her "medals have been found. I'm so relieved."

The burglary happened late on Monday when Adlington and her fiance were in London. Her fiance's car and laptop were stolen in the robbery.

Adlington won freestyle gold in the 400m and 800m at the 2008 Beijing Games, and took bronze in the same races last year in London.
