Cyclist's condition life-threatening after Paris-Roubaix crash

Roubaix - Belgian cyclist Michael Goolaerts was in a life-threatening condition after being knocked unconscious in a heavy crash during Sunday's Paris-Roubaix one-day classic, organisers said in a statement.

The 23-year-old was airlifted to a hospital in Lille by helicopter after suffering "heart failure", organisers said.

The race was won by Peter Sagan.
