Madrid - South Africa's Daryl Impey, riding for the GreenEdge team, won the second stage of the Tour of the Basque Country on Tuesday.
Impey beat Australian team-mate Allan Davis and Italian Sky rider Davide Appolonio at the end of the 165.7km run between Guenes and Vitoria-Gasteiz.
Spanish cycling champion Jose Joaquin Rojas, who won the first stage, retained the lead in the overall standings.
