Q. Have you ever done the Cape Argus Pick n Pay Cycle Tour before?
A. Yes back in 93
Q. What is your biggest fear for this year’s race?
A. Chappies and Suikerbossie
Q. Have you started training yet?
A. Yes
Q. If so, what have you been doing and if not, why not?
A. Cycling to work twice a week. It’s 28km one way and the best way to commute. I also try do one longer ride on weekends plus some spinning for good measure.
Q. Do you believe in carbo loading?
A. Yes
Q. Have you ever sat in a coffee shop with your helmet still on after a training ride?
A. No, I’m not a prawn ?
Q. Lycra or mountain bike shorts?
A. Mountain bike shorts
Q. Shaved or unshaved (legs for the race that is)
A. Shaved
Q. Bobby Skinstad or Robbie Fleck?
A. Flecky!
Q. Back to work on the Monday after the race or pull a sickie?
A. Definitely will be back at work, but depends on how bad the wind is this year!
