South Africa's Chad le Clos equalled Australian legend Ian Thorpe's record of seven medals at the Commonwealth Games.

Cape Town - Bert le Clos has been omnipresent whenever son Chad takes to the pool - and we love him at Sport24!

Ever since his "UNBELIEVABLE" comment at the 2012 Olympics in London, Bert has been a larger-than-life figure at pool-side whenever the SA swimming team is in action.

In Glasgow for the ongoing Commonwealth Games, he's had SEVEN reasons to be extra proud as Chad equalled Australian great Ian Thorpe's medal haul at a single Games.

Here's to many more moments of celebration, Bert...
